Human Rights of Indigenous People

Indigenous people always face the problem of assimilation and often identity crisis. In comparison to these, another aspect has troubled indigenous groups and that is issues of human rights. They are often deprived of their rights of self-determination which is their basic right. They also have rights to protect their cultures and traditions. The UNO has taken serious steps to gurantee the rights of those groups.
